Children Sessions are by appointment and usually take 45 minutes
to an hour and a half to complete, depending on the number
of children being photographed. Smaller children tend to take
longer because we allow them to adjust to our environment
before we try to photograph them. When scheduling your appointment,
please keep in mind when your child is most happy. Happy and
smiling children yield better pictures.
Look through magazines to get an idea of the types of photographs
you want. If there is a certain “look” or “mood”
you are interested in, please make sure you bring the clothing
and/or props necessary to accomplish the look you are after.
We suggest 1 or 2 clothing changes, per child. This allows
for some variety but does not make choosing your proofs difficult.
Because children are easily distracted, we do ask that you
refrain from bringing too many guests to the shoot. Parents
or parent and 1 guest seem to work the best.
